Amazing Things About Static Images

This is a static image. Static Image means that any image that is static is still. They also mean a lot too. Its not just a picture, its a picture with meaning and purpose.

This static image is about a person dancing in a car park at the time of dusk. The photo makes me feel like the dancer is passionate about dancing. What makes this picture unique is how it was taken. It was taken to show the silhouette of the dancer. The positioning of the dancer is amazing too. I think the message of this image is to show people who love dancing can do it anywhere at any time.

Maths Question Number 6

Kaycee and Tylas Maths from Team 5 PES on Vimeo.

This is once again another maths activity assigned to Kaycee and I.

Aspirational Talk

It was Thursday morning and the intermediate classes were getting the opportunity to listen to Future Aspirational talkers. We got to hear from Tristan Pang, Aysha Hohaia, Caine Warren, Emma Brown and Mosa Mafileo. The person who inspired me the most was Mosa Mafileo.

Mosa talked about his life as a kid all the way up to where he is now. His life growing up was pretty hard as he had to live in a 2 bedroom house with 15 people. He didn’t go to the best providing schools. He said that our school is lucky because when he went to intermediate, his ICT suite was pretty rubbish. The problem was that the computers in the suite were constantly broken.

While he was in school, he said he didn’t get to see his parents. His parents were constantly working. He blamed it on politics so he dreamed of becoming a politician and make life easier for Polynesian and Maoris. Luckily for him he finished school and became a politician. He quoted "Chase your dream and catch it", was Mosa's motto.

My aspirational goal in life is to become a pro dancer and dance at the Royal Palace with Paris Goebel. I would also like to compete in the HHI World Competitions. This has been my dream since I started school.
